This state-of-the-art, 7,000 sq ft indoor baseball training facility is designed to elevate the St. Augustine Purple Knights’ athletic culture. The space includes retractable netting batting cages outfitted with advanced HitTrax batting technology, a turf playing field, a plyometrics training area, a locker room for 40 players, coaches’ offices, and a players’ lounge—all tailored to optimize performance and team camaraderie. As an alumnus who began professional work designing the Warren and Hilda Donald Business and Technology Center in 2004, having the opportunity to return now and add this cutting-edge athletic facility is a profoundly humbling full-circle moment. The project honors the school’s storied legacy and supports the next generation of St. Augustine athletes both on and off the field.
